As Bradford Council have not confirmed a Planning Hearing the developers have appealed the first application for 475 houses with the Planning Inspectorate thereby taking it out of the hands of Bradford Council. They will no doubt use this as a bargaining tool with the Council to force their hand in recommending the second application to a Planning Hearing. This means the first application will probably be heard by a Public Inquiry early in 2012.
